Google reCAPTCHA

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

reCAPTCHA is used to check whether data is entered on our web pages (e.g. on a contact form) by a person or an automated programme. To do so, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of website visitor using various features. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For analysis purposes, reCAPTCHA evaluates different information (e.g. IP address, period that the website visitor spends on the website or mouse movements performed by the user. The data recorded during the analysis is forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses run completely in the background. Website visitors are not advised that an analysis is taking place.

The data is processed based on Art. 6 Para. 1 f of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web content against improper automated spying and SPAM.

Contact form

If you reach us through contact form enquiries, your details from the contact form including the contact details entered by you on the form will be saved by us for the purpose of handling the enquiry and in case there are any follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The data entered on the contact form is therefore processed solely based on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 a of the GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time. An informal message sent to us by email is adequate for this purpose. The lawfulness of the data processing procedures carried out up until the withdrawal of consent remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

The data entered by you on the contact form will be kept by us until you ask us to delete it, you withdraw your consent to it being saved or the purpose for saving the data no longer applies (e.g. once your enquiry has been handled). Essential statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Rights of the user: Information, correction and deletion

On request, you as a user will receive information free of charge about which personal data relating to you has been saved. As long as your request does not clash with a statutory obligation to store data (e.g. data retention directive), you have a right to correct incorrect data and to block or delete your personal data.
